Group Fitness Instructor: As a Group Fitness Instructor he/she is responsible for providing group fitness instruction while monitoring and educating members on fitness and safety in an enjoyable atmosphere.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
-Teaches scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time.
-Provides adequate warm-up, class content, stretching, and cool down.
-Instructs class participants on effective workout methods, using and demonstrating proper technique.
-Prepares appropriate equipment and music for each class.
-Maintains a positive experience for members and class participants.
-Assists club management in promotion of smoothies, new products and promotions.
-Works on maintaining and building classes. If class is empty work to pull members in to class
Qualifications:
-Current Group Fitness certification
-Current certification
-CPR/AED certification
-Ability to motivate members towards participating in group fitness classes
-Strong desire to help others reach their health and fitness goals
-Completes Retro University requirements
